Graphics card No display/Overheating!!!!HELP!!!!!

I LOVE THIS GPU SO MUCH AND HAD IT ABOUT  A YEAR NOW... AND NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM.

MY CARD IS OVER HEATING BUT BOTH FANS ARE SPINNING AT FULL SPEED AND I HAVE NO DISPLAY IN BOTH DVI PORTS

AND NO DISPLAY IN THE HDMI PORT ALSO.. THE LAST GAME I PLAYED WAS FARCRY 5... IS THERE ANYWAY THAT I CAN FIX THIS GPU?

I had the 6870, really good card in its day.

 

I would probably look to a newer card rather than fix that one, I think I had my 6870 in 2012ish? Was likely an upgrade a few years after i got my prebuilt probably.

New thermal paste and hope that fixes it

New thermal paste might do it. 

If not, and its bricked, you could try reflowing it in an over. Its risky, its stupid, but hey, if it's dead already, you can only hope it works!

 

As a comment i'll add: Put it chip-side up. Dont remove it from the oven until its room temp, the slower it cools, the better.

thanks alot... i'll try the oven method if that don't work.. then its gonna take me few years to buy me a new gpu...?????????????????????
