So Im currently looking to replace my current router. I currently use the Linksys WRT32X, im changing because its been acting up and its ethernet speeds are not that great. For example I get gigabit internet from my provider and if I hardwire through my modem i get ~950mb/s versus through my router and a switch i only get 500mb/s, I tried borrowing a friends router and was getting better speeds. So Im looking at a few routers on Best Buy, I have some store credit there (plus im an employee). So heres some of the models im going for

These are within my price range (around 250-280), my main concern is LAN/Ethernet speeds so im not sure if theres a specific way to view their performance. AX Not very important as its not even finished, Wifi Speeds arent too important either as they are more than fast enough for my wireless devices. More control via better configuration control would be nice too.

Im mainly looking for some secondary input as to see what other people recommend with these models. If you need more info ill add more.

Thanks ahead!

why don't you give that router another live with a custom firmware.

I was thinking about this, but could this actually change my performance issues over ethernet?
