Hi everyone I built my conputer almost a year ago for gaming and streaming and for the most part I have had only issues with CPU temps. My idle temps when I started were about 33-36. But when I started up a game and stream they would jump up to 60-70 and very rarely hit 80. Now my idle temps are 45-50 and just with gaming I hit about 70 and if I stream I get 80+ frequently. I just cleaned out my case today because I havent done so in the past year and I even reapplied thermal paste.  My idle temps are still around 42ish-50 and as soon as I loaded up outer worlds my PC crashed which usually happens when it hits 80+... I'm not sure if this is good or bad but I really need some help solving it if possible.

Cpu: I7-8700K

GPU: Evga geforce Gtx ultra silent 1070 ti

RAM: Corsair Vengence LPX 16GB DDR4 3000MHz

Liquid Cooling : Kraken x62

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z370-E

PSU: Evga supernova 650 g3 80 plus 650 fully modular

Hard Drive: Seagate 3TB

SSD: A data SU800 M.2 2280 256GB

Elgato HD60 Pro

Case: NZXT H500

I would like to say my cable management isnt the best but I dont believe thats whats causing the issue of this degree.

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated and thank you for your time.

A change in ambient temperature will change the temperatures of the whole system,

What was ambient then and what is ambient now?

Can I ask when I should be concerned for the temps? I currently dont overclock (at least to my knowledge im not lol) figure i might as well learn when to be worried lol

And thank you for the reply bud.

Yeah the temps can be up and down demending on the surrounding temps.

As you play games longer, the air in your room heated up, so it forced the cpu to reuse the already hot air.

I say you should worry if the full load is above 95c.

And at 100c it should triggers auto shutdown from the motherboard.

Open the case door to let more air in, if the temp difference is wide, i say you have a bad circulation inside your case.

You shouldn't have any crashes just because your CPU's temperature goes to 80C, it rather sounds like it's unstable? Have you tried disabling any of the motherboard's auto overclock features, if you haven't done any manual overclocking yourself?

If I'm not mistaken, NZXT's AIOs allow you to check the pump's speed and liquid temps in their software. How do those values look?

Also, if you're using the thermal compound your AIO came with, have you tried replacing it? A good thermal paste for the price is the Arctic MX-4, if you needed any suggestions, but the difference between one of the best and one of the worst thermal pastes around is really just a few degrees, so even if you have some random one lying around (as long as it's not 10 years old) you could try that and see if it changes anything in terms of thermals.

50 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius? Anyways if its 50 degrees Celsius your temps are fairly understandable. If its 50 degrees Fahrenheit then you likely have a problem with you cooler.

It's impossible to live in 50C,Even Death Valley doesn't get to such temperature.

Edit: Death Valley actually get to such temperatures :S

I went back and checked the overclock settings (im fairly new to pc building and such so I dont know much about them) however I turned off Turbo mode and it dropped the temp down to about 37C on idle. I havent checked while gaming yet but if you have any other tips by all means let me know lol and thanks for your help?!

Not true it's the ambient temperature in the room not outside.
