Youtube New Design

On youtube.com is anyone else seeing a different design with bigger thumbnails or is it just me?

yup it seems that it JUST changed couple of minutes ago.

They've been testing changes for a bit now wouldn't be surprised if this is another one of em to selected users. All is normal for me still

Actually I'm really liking this update because you can keep scrolling, and scrolling, and new videos just keep on popping up.

i prefer the old 1 you can keep scrolling in the old 1 too..=x..steam also changed today..what are they thinking?! lucky for steam we can download the old ui and replace the files...

I can't keep scrolling on the old one, which it switched back to today, and I also like the new steam design better. They're actually putting all of the empty space on the library page to use.

Funny enough around the time this thread was posted I really liked the changes,  but that only lasted a few days,  now it's back to old and tired endless scrolling and mini thumbnails,  it just feels a bit more sluggish than it used to...  That's on my phone though which is mostly used to browse / watch videos (unlimited mobile data rate ahoy)

 

On my PC I don't like it at all, very clunky,  uninspired,  just typical how it'd go lol and I'm seriously looking for alternatives... But there aren't really any.  Current plan is to build a mini streaming PC and host my videos myself - though to be honest I have no idea how that works and what software I would need lol...

 

It's just an idea so far.  >.<

I genuinely hate the new UI, it just seems too big on my 24 inch monitor, looks like its made more suitable for tablets (or laptops maybe). Are they doing the same thing microsoft did when they released windows 8
