Audio only works if you delete and re install drivers

So I recently built my own PC and everything seemed to go fine except the audio, now at first i just attributed this to me not having a headphone splitter to split the audio into headphones and mic, but when i got one the problem persisted. What happens is i boot into windows, plug in my headphones and then i start to hear a crackling noise and when i look down at the little speaker icon (or go into control panel) i see it flickering as on and off or detected and not detected. The only way i have found to temporarily fix this problem is deleting all the sound drivers, unplugging my headphones, and then restarting my pc and letting windows re install drivers. but if i ever reboot my pc or shut it off the problem happens again.

oh btw i have corsair HS50's

Are you using the front panel connectors, the rear motherboard connectors, or have you tried both? It's possible that one or the other may not be working properly.

i am plugging them into my front panel audio jacks, when i plug my headphones into my motherboard nothing happens at all. I dont know 100% which jacks are which on the motherboard except for the mic but i plugged the headphone jack into all of them and it still didnt do anything. at first i thought that maybe the jack(s) were damaged but then idk why reinstalling the drivers would work.
