phone looking to upgrade but dont know which is the best succesor to the pixle two xl

so i'm planning on taking a trip overseas and i wanna be able to take some of the best pictures while i am out there even if i cant grab my camera from its bag. and my pixel 2 is kinda losing performance so i was wondering what would be the best successor to this phone. i don't really like gesture controls and i hate the notch. i'm just having trouble deciding if the pixel fours bad battery life and sometimes too over aggressive camera decisions  make the iPhone 11's notch and lack of a back button worth it, i do like that apple watch though and the telephoto camera although i'm not so sure how much i would use it. anyway if you guys have any insights to this dilemma please let me know.

If you want the best camera the iPhone has beaten pixel this year, if budget isnt an issue I would recommend the 11 pro for the triple lens setup but the regular 11 still has the ultrawide, which is far more useful than telephoto imo, and the main camera is exactly the same. Both phones also have stellar battery life and performance with a guaranteed 4 years of updates (potentially 5)

 

The pixel 4 has a slightly worse camera (no ultrawide just telephoto) and a giant forehead with radar.. 

 

The choice is pretty simple once you decide your budget imo

for me oneplus 7 pro is the best option right now.

 

its not the fastest phone anymore but its up there, and with 90hz screen and almost no bezel with no notch, thats a very good selling point to me.

Doesn't have great battery life though...

Might be worth waiting to see what the S11 is like. It's not that far off. I'd just see if you can pick up an RX100, they're cheap.
