RX470 4gb ddr5, will it bottleneck my i5 - 3470(2.90) cpu?

Soo, I managed to find a second hand rx470 4gb for 75$ in aliexpress, it seems kinda legit the reviews and stuff. So im temped to buy it, I'm anxious if it'll bottleneck my cpu.

 

I feel like this topic should be in gpu section, Sorry dudes.

Thats an easy pass. Search for used gpus locally, you will most likely get scammed.

AliExpress has a really buyer friendly policy for scams actually, however that $75 price tag is nothing impressive enough to want AliExpress over eBay and the like.

 

As for a bottleneck, it's a budget CPU with a budget GPU so don't mind it much

It really depends what you are trying to do, but I don't think you'll run into too many bottleneck issues with that CPU+GPU combo (I'm running a 3570k and a 1060ti for reference, only a problem on certain CPU intensive games.)

As others have pointed out, i generally try to avoid AliExpress. Not saying it's 100% going to be a fraud, but i'm always skeptical on that site.

I buy from aliexpress ofter, no scam if you're careful, top the sellers would do anything for 5 stars, even lick your shoes (j/k).

They have a proper escrow service, if your items arrived, check everything, if there's a problem open a case, until it resolved the sellers won't get the money.

 

Anyway $75 for RX470 is not something to brag about, you probably can get that locally.

Oh rx470 is really expensive where I live, second hand costs about 150$, also ali express is a fine shopping website for me, never got scammed once plus mostly its free shipping. Ive tried purchasing from ali express every product was great for a second hand.

Scratch that I found one for 35$ its refurbished though.
