Black squares getting bigger on screen in game

Okey so my friend keep getting all these black squares on his screen, and they get bigger until they cover the whole screen. the black squares only pop up when he is not moving the camera in game, and the second he moves the camera, the squares disapper.and then when he stops moving the camera they appear again. this only happens when he is playing games, and not in windows. Can someone help?

they are set to stock. never been changed

Interesting. Underclock the GPU memory and core all the way down and see if that still happens (yes frame rate will tank)

already tried, still same problem

that is a new one. I dont think I have seen gpu's do that before... do the blocks come from the same place in other games? Its weird how they stay in its relative spot when you move the camera around. Try reinstalling gpu, reinstall gpu drivers and make sure its either stock or under voltage. Or maybe check to see if you have some software doing that because I have not seen artifactingthat wasn't just anomalies appearing on screen or flickering.

take the card out, clean the PCIe connector and slot on the board? Different display cable even
