how to upgrade my setups for gaming

i have the HP omen Obelisk for desktop pc. with i7-9700k, geforce gtx 1660ti graphic card and 16g of ram. i think it is pretty decent at gaming but how can i upgrade it for even better quality of gaming. my monitor is only 60hz im planning to get an at least 144hz monitor. besides that should i get a water cooling system to replace the fans and what else can i do to upgrade it?

if you got $400 to spare, get a 5700XT.

your rig already has one for the CPU, but judging from online pics, maybe pick an cheap $20-30 aftermarket cooler to replace it.
