funny fact: the greatwall cx (it's dualsourced together with cwt) is a similar platform to the txm

so it being cheaper is actually a benefit here

hmm interesting.

Quick question, does the quality of the case you have, affect the psu in any way?

I`m asking because I have a super old delux office case without any fans, and I was wondering if I should cheap out on a new case and spending a little more on the psu.

as long as the psu can intake and exhaust right, no problems there

in addiion to ventilation in some very rare occasions , if you have an unconventional case , such as the cougar conquer some cables may require some extensions, in this conquer case the EPS cable lenght of 600mm is not enough to reach the eps connector on the motherboard while allowing for cable management at the same time

it`s literally the cheapest case you can find here. https://www.cel.ro/carcase/carcasa-delux-middletower-atx-450w-mt375-pMCczMjc-l/

it`s like 25$ with psu included. I had it for more than 6 years.

I just need 1 more push to be fully convinced for the Gigabyte G750H, 49 reviews in Amazon like wot and 3/5 stars in newegg.

The lack of purchases and reviews and 750W Gold PSU for $80 kinda scares me.

My specs would be Ryzen 7 3700X + RTX 2060, 16GB Ram.

Can you link some sites where you're shopping ?

I see Corsair RMx and Seasonic Focus PX for 6k PHP on shopee.ph but they're out of your budget i guess.

I shop in Shopee and Lazada.com.ph

Max I can go is 5000PHP ($100)

In case it looks like I'm cheaping out on the PSU not really, i still use a GTX 1060 6GB but planning to get a 2060 in like 4 months when the prices drop.

About the Seasonic S12ii/M12ii why is it dangerous? I currently have the S12ii 520W, in pc partpicker it has a great score too, 4.8/5 stars.

Also is 550W CM MWE Gold enough for Ryzen 3700X + RTX 2060?

More than enough.

which is better? 650W Corsair Bronze or 550W CM Gold?

They're pretty much on par, both good, get Corsair CX650 then.

Corsair > MWE even if it's Bronze?

I also read something about the MWE cheaping out on some of its parts and stuff causing it to fail.

is corsair rmx 2018 better than the 2015 version?

Yes, marginally, same platform AFAIK, just refined. Care only if they're same price.

Nope, completely different platforms, still perform similarly within margin but older one are better built and more expensive to make, i think it still worth going for if it's only like 5$ more.

So looking for recommendations for solid cheap unit under 100 dollars looking mostly 60 or 70 dollar range. I am hoping to finish my build tomorrow so picking up in store is preferred. I have access to a microcenter and bestbuy

Build is a 3600 stock cooler 960 currently will upgrade to 1060 or 1660 in the future two nvme and a few case fans. No overclocking planned I usually run pretty stock.

Which location ? In-store stock varies wildly. But Corsair CX \ CM MWE Gold should be available probably.

Not iirc. Think they decided the old ones were too expensive (based on the HXi), so they simplified it. Either way, both are still good PSUs.

the 450 is enough for your intended gpu upgrade  but I would go for the 550w if i wanted to keep my options less limited when upgrading the gpu
