Hello, I have a question regarding this classification:

( multi-rail )
be quiet! | Straight Power 11 Gold / Platinum

Why is the gold version (BN620) better than the platinum version (BN643)? What is the reason why it is better? Because where I live, the platinum version only costs 8 dollars more than the gold version.

Can someone tell me what does this mean for Antec psu in Tier A:

"High Current Gamer [HCG] Gold pre 2018 y."

Is it bad to buy it now ?
I have this hcg 750w available to buy here in Serbia for "normal" price

This post is about some units only found in the Turkish market.

Rampage | Everest Forza FTX / ETX

these units are in low B tier but I remember them being in the A tier previously. I checked the spreadsheet and couldn't see anything about this in the changelog/notes. I checked the previous messages in this topic now and I think it's only in B tier because the fan bearing is unknown? I will confirm if I actually end up buying one, but anyways:

I was looking for a high wattage PSU and rampage Forza FTX 1200W model is one of the only available options in Turkey. (price is around 260 usd if you are lucky)

I looked a bit harder and found this model, PowerBoost Rage 1200W Platinum(price around 200 usd). It looks exactly the same from the outside and the box art is a slightly edited version of the OEM SAMA FORZA 1200W platinum box, so I'm pretty sure they are the same.

I guess my questions are:

a) Can we add this model to the list so that people from Turkey know there is an identical but cheaper alternative to Forza FTX?

b) What would be the tier of this unit if we assume the fan bearing is good? I think Juular posted internal shots of the rampage forza previously if that helps.

It was in the list previously but due to complete lack of any info (on both of them actually) and confusing product shots (stuff that's visible through exhaust grille doesn't match up any SAMA platforms) it was removed. Rampage Forza stayed because exhaust grille shots at least resemble those for OEM models. If you can do some shots, even if only through the exhaust or fan grille without disassembling it for either of these PSUs that would be helpful tho.

Thank you @LukeSavenijefor doing these tier lists! That's an awesome tool you're providing to less PC hardware savvy people to make them more informed of their purchases, which's a crucial point.

I'm myself a newbie in PC hardware, currently buying parts for my first build and there's still a question I couldn't answer yet:

Considering I'll be using a PCIe 4 M.2 NVMe SSD (Aorus Gen4) along with a Ryzen 5 5600X and a RX 5700XT (also connected in PCIe 4), should I buy an X570 or a B550 mobo? My fear comes from some B550 spec sheets (thinking of the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2) saying that when you're using Ryzen Gen 4 (5xxx) CPU along with a Radeon PCIe 4 GPU, the PCIe 4 M.2 NVMe slot is limited to PCIe 3 speeds (which would be bad in my case, since I want to take full advantage of the PCIe 4 M.2 NVMe SSD I bought).

Is it true or just some marketing BS to make you buy a more expensive X570 board? If it's true, then is this limitation on all B550 models?

This thread is for discussing the tier list. Please create your own thread in the new builds sub-forum.

What can you guys tell me about this PSU: EVGA 700W 80+ "white" 100-W1-0700-K

I got it due a good review by Teclab but there is very little to none info out there... I also realized that it is not even listed on EVGA`s website, and seems to being sold only here in South America.

Here is some shots, can you relate to another model/review?

13700 . B760 . 32GB 6000C32 . 1TB+2TB M2 Gen4 . RTX 3080 . 55Q80A 4K@120Hz

Thanks, I was peeking inside the PSU and found the fan model number, looked it up and then found this review: EVGA 600B from 6 years ago. Comparing what I can see from outside it is exactly like mine

Double forward primary and Group Regulated secondary. It meets reqs for tier D, but not Tier C.

 spreadsheet

Quote

Tier C and above - required to have independent regulation on all rails or otherwise <5% min to max voltage regulation on all rails under extreme crossloads and high combined load; ripple on 12V rail should be below 100mV under extreme crossload and high combined load situations and up-to 100% load.
Tier D and above - required to have OPP; requires OCP on minor rails, SCP, UVP, OVP on all rails, ripple should be in specs; units failing any single of aforementioned requirements are moved to low priority subtier, if issues are multiple or severe then it's moved to tier E

Not really, it's modern topology (XHY's LLC platform like one used in CM MWE Gold) but really, a pretty budget unit, i wouldn't pair it with 800$ GPU, although i have no idea if it will or will not actually work.
