TX-m is a bit better, like additional 10$ worthy at most.

Was able to grab a 2019 Corsair RM650 before they went out of stock.

Greetings Luke,

I went through the list as thoroughly as possible. However, I am unsure if the Antec NE Zen gold listed at the B+ tier is the same (manufacturing year and such) as Neo Eco 600G Zen found on vedant computers in India since the wattage is not mentioned. It the only gold certified psu at an affordable price (75$ ish) and I am looking forward to upgrade from a Seasonic Eco 430 Watts psu.

Thank you for your effort! you et al have helped a psu noob a lot :)

It is, Antec doesn't have other Gold Neo Ecos other than this one.

Edit: wait ... they do, but only for Chinese market, both good tho.

I wanted to get a seasonic or antec, but went with Leadex III 650w unit despite having some fan issues with Leadex II before.

I have checked recent notes, is there anything i should worry about?

The unit is already on it's way, will be used in single gpu gaming PC.

Nah, it's basically what is EVGA G2, very good unit, just not too silent.

I know for a fact that Leadex II is not too silent :D

As far as i remember Leadex II was like EVGA G2.

I am now getting Leadex III, which is rated for very silent operation as well with 2 different eco modes.

I mean the notes about inconsistent performance across different revisions and this "OOS on overload before  OCP and OPP" if it's pre 2020 unit.

I wonder how scary is this given if for some reason i am being shipped older version. I dont know, it looks like this one from after a few restocks.

Ah, sorry, you were talking about Leadex III, well, early revisions weren't very silent either and had some problems with too high OCP/OPP but if you're not gonna overload them that's fine. Newer revisions should be fixed in both aspects, assuming performance of ARGB version translates to regular one which is probably the case since it doesn't make sense to manufacture two different platforms, ARGB is just Leadex III with RGB fan.

The aris have reviewed 650w unit in 2019 and stated it was "dead silent".

I have also found several reviews confirming the silent operation up to 500w load, and those were 2019 reviews. I really hope i am not getting some old stock found somewhere in the basement, i was that "lucky" once when i bought a CPU cooler that was pre 2018 manufactured and had no AM4 bracket.

Weird, i must've mixed it with Leadex II then.

What's the source for the Prestige being B Tier? Just curious since I see the 600w for $50 and the 800w for $65. Might buy one to replace the Ultra PSU in my old FX-8320/1060 6GB build.

Why are Seasonic Core GC / GM / GX grayed out in tier B+?

I could not find anything bad about them in the spreadsheet and the reviews say all the best...i even read somewhere that Seasonic stated that they don't have Focus series problems...

Been doing some research and am still reading through the pages here but my PSU is dying (at a very bad time) and am looking for a new one and have found the following available, wondering which one is best for the price..

Looks like a platinum vs gold will save me $7 per year. I'm running a i7-6700k and a GTX 960.

CORSAIR RMX Series, RM750x - $117.84

Seasonic Focus PX-750 SSR-750PX - $137.05

Seasonic Focus GX-750 SSR-750FX - $119.99

Seasonic Focus GX-550 SSR-550FX - $99.99

I noticed that the Seasonic PSU's are newer, wondering how they compare to the CORSAIR. One thing for me is that I have had a Corsair PSU fail on me before and now I am having my XFX (Seasonic re-brand) start failing on me as well so it is a toss up of which brand I should go with especially with the current prices I want to get one that I can use for future builds. Any advice would be great.

Well, it's not solid grounds (hence it's grayed-out) but from the shot of back grille it's apparent that they use Andyson as OEM, it's very close to platform of Xigmatek Cerberus S / Aerocool KCAS Gold, and Xigmatek does claim that this model has DC-DC. It should be okay as very budget option.

Reviews we have so far aren't very trustful, that's the reason. So if we get some more reviews or at least one review from Aris we'll ungray it. It looks good so far though as it's really just a cost-down Focus, good option if it's cheap enough.

Failures happen with any brand, it's all about how they handle the warranty, and in this regard i'd say Corsair and Seasonic are pretty much on par.

As of Corsair RMx vs Seasonic Focus, i wouldn't say there's performance difference significant enough to warrant going for one or another, just get a cheapest option. I.e Focus GX 550W, wattage should be enough for any gaming build but the most extreme ones, but if you plan to upgrade to smth like i9 9900K/10900K + RTX2080Ti/3080Ti then i'd suggest going for RMx 750W then to have some more headroom.

Thanks for the insight.

Now debating if I should get the CORSAIR RM650x for $104.19, so $4.19 more than the Focus GX-550 but with 100w more. Going to try to read in to figure out the differences and what was changed in the 2020 version of the GX-550.

Hmm ... personally i would. Focus GX has fix for AMD Vega shutdown issues and ribbon cables without capacitors in them, that it.

Fuck It just was edited yesterday and today I got the

Abkoncore Tenergy Bronze which is listed as a B instead of a Kolink Enclave which is listed as a B+

Should be ok with my Ryzen 5 3600 / RX 5700 or I have to return it?

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 @ 4.4GHz 1.2v / GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700 Mech OC GP (5700XT Bios) @ 2GHz / MB: Asus ROG Strix B450-F / RAM: Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 / CASE: MSI MAG Vampiric 010X

It's not very good PSU but it's not a bomb either. Kolink Enclave would be considerably better so it would make sense to swap Tenergy Bronze for it if you can do it.
