Hello everyone!

I have been helping a friend install windows and the drivers of the system into his laptop. However I have come across a problem. The

Intel® UHD Graphics 630 is not showing in task manager.

I have tried to install the drivers to the igpu but the driver installer shows an error message saying "your pc does not meet the minimum requirements".

I have also tried to install some benchmarks for the gpu without success, being that both heaven and valley benchmarks showed the same error message "msvcp100.dll not found".

Also, the gpu usage (discrete gpu) is very low while unplugued, therefore the fps counter heavily drops in game (fps: plugued in - 130+ , unplegued - around 30 (with a lot of stuttering)).

specs:

i5-9300h

gtx 1650

8gb ram 2666mHz

256gb ssd

Thanks for the help!

Filipe

It's because you are using the GPU while gaming and not the iGPU. You should use only the GPU, no need to plug the monitor to the motherboard too. And 30FPS is normal when using the iGPU it's crap.

In order for it to show in task manager, it needs to be turned on. Normally in the bios. Enabled multi monitor support. Keep the primary on pci.

I think you need some .net and other MS Stuff.

Do you install the original Intel Driver from the Intel Page?

From AT. :x

It is a laptop though it would be usefull to use the igpu for simpler tasks
