Front panel USB C header on asus rog H370 Motherboard

Go to solution Solved by kkpatel87,

There isnt anything off the shelf, that i know of, that has a USB 3.1 header to USB-C male to adapt the front panel USB-C to the motherboard USB-C.

You have a few options:

  • DIY an adapter. Will be a bit pricey but it will be a clean solution.
  • Add a header if you have a spare m.2 slot
  • Add a PCIE to USB 3.1 header card

does anyone know of an adaptor or cable that would allow me to connect my case's usb 3.1 gen 2 type c connector (male) to the usb type c port on the back of the motherboard? the motherboard has no header than can accept this type of cable, and i'd quite like the slot on the front of the chassis to work...
