Can I mix ram that is almost exactly the same?

Go to solution Solved by GoldenLag,

they should work fine. if it doesnt you might have to do some minor manual tuning, but it should work.

So already existing in my system are a pair of 8gb gskill ripjaw sticks @ 3200mhz. And i wanted to upgrade my system with more ram and make it a bit flashier. So I was wondering if I could put gskill trident z rgb sticks in, In addition to the sticks already in there? They would be the same speed and I would get an additional pair of 8gb. I'm mainly asking if there would compatibility issues or not.
