the tech is awesome, and the fact that AMD is finally pushing back into the server space is amazing aswell.

still tough, what would any normal consumer do with that many cores? i have a 16 core 1950X and i barely use half of them in the most extreme scenario's

30 gamers 1 CPU?? You could have 30 simulated Ryzen 3 chips on that with 8 threads left over for the server?? Not sure how you'd get 30 GPUs attached though

yep, that's pretty much what it's doing. tough in PPD per watt it's far too costly to keep running after the event has ended.

I want to have a go overclocking one... assuming they're overclockable at all... otherwise will have to wait for equivalent threadripper.

Now I can playing against 40 AI NASCAR in BeamNG Drive with this, but I thinking it won't gotta be playable smooth at 60FPS.

its  cool that amd finally punishes intel for not trying hard enough xD 
amd really pushes intel to get more cores. but... i jumped their ship when i upgraded from a simple i5 7600 to a ryzen 5 2600x. 
and wont go back to intel. 
i really hope amd will make more money now so they can even research more to get better cpu's :)

I'd use one to stream or record (to upload later to youtube) 4K 60fps using x264 software encoding in real time at an event like Games Done Quick or something like that.

Still can't beat x264 when it comes to image quality.
