Looking for the best optiplex builds. I'm going to build one soon myself. All posts will be liked :)(Unless they are unrelated ofc). Post em below with specs and pictures(if possible!). This should also be helpful to other gamers who are looking for cheap and good performance rigs.

A while ago I got an Optiplex 775 (given to me) with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6420, no GPU, and some amount of 0.5 and/or 1 GB sticks of RAM. I plopped in 4x2GB (already had those from older builds), a Q6600 (already had that for a while, gotta love chipsets on LGA 755), and a GT 220 (for free from a friend). This was the pc my friend used for years when he came over. :D

Not that long ago I got two more old Optiplexes, and decided get the best from both and make it our TV-PC. The result was a core 2 duo E7400, 2x2 GB RAM (only 2 slots on each mobo), and it needed the GT 220 from the 775. I then got an HD 6570 (twice as fast) so the GT 220 could go to the TV-PC.

Then I suddenly got gifted an Optiplex 990 with an i5 2400. The HD 6750 went to there, and the Optiplex 775 went (without a GPU) to my dad upstairs.

I have two more Optiplexes that aren't being used at the moment, more PCs than uses. :D
