Just in case.

Here is also a photo.

$1337.39

Is this a good deal and smart idea? I need some suggestions.

You can save 100$ on replacing the liquid cooler with a simple 30$ air cooler which is still more than fine for that ryzen.

If this is for gaming I would go for a ryzen 3600 even tho it's more expensive but this will be better in games even if it lacks 2 cores due to better single core performance but the 2700 is also really solid.

Why no ssd?

The case is alright not the best for airflow but good enough.

Motherboard is quite expensive and something half the price will more than do.

If I am getting a 3rd gen processor, should I stick with the Ryzen 5 instead of the 7?

also, Which motherboard would you recommend?

budget down on the mobo and get an ssd and put windows on it. If possible, Save a little more money for a rtx 2070 super or something. If your spending over 1300 or a build it shouldn't have a 1660. Power supply is totally overkill imo.

Add monitor of your choice and you are good to go. Case is up to you I just chose this one because it's nice, compact and functional

Ok I see what ya mean. My PSU might have been overkill. However, If there is one thing I have learned from LTT. NEVER go cheap with the PSU.

Never go cheap but also don't go overboard is a better way to put it.

Would I have to Go with a Micro ATX case?

That actually looks really good. Which would run better though.

This would! The 5700 XT trades blows with a 2070 Super, plus you get an ssd for fast boot. SSDs are essential nowadays, I wouldn’t build a pc without one.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

Someone was telling me the same thing. SSD is all you need. I kind of ignored it then. I will defiantly look into it.

No not at all. Any micro atx, atx, eatx,... case is available to you. Just not mitx

Now I know people have different opinions on RGB. Do you know of a case that is a low price and has a good amount of RGB?

A heads up. There are 2 main categories Sata ssd's and nvme ones. The nvme one's can have a lot higher speeds but for gaming those are not needed at all. So don't get a nvme one that is smaller if you can just get a regular sata one that is bigger and has the typical 550mb/s speeds.

Since both builds listed above saved you money you can just take any case and add rgb yourself if you'd like or stick with your original choice.
