Can You Game on Integrated Graphics, even with hdd/ssd/m.2 or small size ram or low end cpu?

Can you game on Intel/AMD or ATI/NVIDIA Integrated Graphics, even with 5400/7200 rpm HDD/SATA SSD/M.2 NVME SSD or Small size ram (ex: 2gb ram) or Low end cpu (ex: AMD Athlon X2 II 250) and Old Graphics Cards?

You can game on "anything" it's just a matter of:

  1. What games are you looking to run?
  2. How good do you want the graphics to be?
  3. How many FPS are you comfortable with?
  4. Display resolution?

If you're trying to run Crysis 3 on an iGPU you're not going to have a great experience as compared to if you're just want to play Minesweeper so asking if you can game one one with your system specs really depends on the games you're trying to play.

I'm not sure what you mean here.

So you are saying that the pc you are wanting to game on is a athlon II x2 250.

Storage device doesn't really matter for gaming performance.

2Gb of ram is really low but seeing as to how weak this cpu is the games you would be running won't need much at all.

Integrated graphics of that time are not gaming capable basically maybe some gba emulation but that would be it. Some old early 2000's titles at 480 but probably 360p would run ok ish.

If you are asking if a build with that cpu even if maxed out with ram and such can run games nowadays even with the best gpu there is. Simply put no it's way too weak for most things part from browsing the internet.

If what you are asking is if you can game on modern integrated graphics then the answer is it depends.

Eg: a ryzen 2200g can play a lot of games at 1080p 30fps no problem. But a i5 8400 for example whilst having a better cpu it's integrated graphics are quite a bit worse and you'll have to drop to 720p for all games basically and the more graphics intensive ones still will not run at 30fps.

I personally game on Integrated intel Graphics 620. Not great, But my CPU is bomb, (Intel I5 8th gen) so I live with it. But I am building my own PC Soon that will probably have  a 1660 or a 2070.
