aight, i see a couple things

  1. 3700x, especially for a 2080Ti
  2. get a b450/x470 instead of x570, save a bit of money for said 3700x as x570 is generally unessescary
  3. get a regular nvme drive, save some cash
  4. 16GB of memory is probably enough, but 32GB is fine i guess
  5. please don't get a refurbished PSU- get something like an RM850x
  6. (subjective) i'd pair a 1440p 144hz with that GPU

Go for a 3900x and h700i otherwise it's not completely overkill :P

HaHa lmao i like that idea but im going for something small and a extreamly good match up for 2080ti and also i like your build my build rn is a fx4350k and a r7 240 with a modded ram count by someguy.

if you really "only" want a 6 core cpu get the 3600 non x. The performance difference is nearly nothing.

For a single GPU, you dont need more than 650W

i mean, even then if this is an overkill build, 3700X seems a better pairing for a 2080Ti

2080ti doesn't run on PCI-E 4.0 speeds and the faster SSD speeds is completely unnecessary on a rig that's just gaming.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

As someone who bought two refurbished AX860i PSUs, only to have them die within a few months, and after three RMAs to get two working units, please stay away from them. One of the PSUs ended up dying post warranty (warranty for reburbished PSUs is only one year). GrockleTD's suggestions are solid though.

personally, as somebody who has experienced every spectrum of GTA V's texture quality's, i would rather play 1440p low at 144Hz, than 1080p high at not 144hz. (this is why i was going to buy a 1440p monitor when i get payed tomorrow :p)

Sadly no, since it died post warranty (That one years goes super fast). The other one is somehow still alive, but I don't trust it and have bought a spare EVGA G3 PSU for when it does die.

I think 1000W is super overkill for this PC though.
