Do you really need G-Sync nowadays when nVidia supports FreeSync?

Is 100hz not enough?

If g sync work with freesync perfectly then it doesnt matter. I need something at least 120+. I had the asus pg34vq and i felt the 100hz wasnt enough.

Well that's too bad...

Because you have something like the Viotek GN34CB which is a 3440x1440p100hz VA Samsung panel which has color accuracy just as good as IPS, same with viewing angles but it doesn't suffer from IPS Glow neither it suffers from Backlight Bleed.

It has far higher contrast ratio allowing for super deep blacks with no ghosting or anything even at 100hz and it does have a perfectly great FreeSync implementations.

All that for just 400 dollars which makes it an amazing value in every way:

The thing with most 120hz 1440p ultrawides is that it is "overclocking refresh rate" which disables Adaptive Sync which defeats the purpose the way I see it, unless you spend 1000+ Dollars on a truly 120hz native screen throwing all the value away.

You'll notice that even ultra expensive ones like the Acer X34P and Z35P are only 120hz through OC which disables G-Sync.

I honestly don't think 20hz is worth paying more than 3000 dollars for a true 144hz native screen like the ASUS PG35VQ.

I had the pg35vq and its garbage returned it the second day. Flickering is unreal make some games unplayable.
