graphics from old but better card trough newer cards output

So short guestion: is it possible to passtrough (english not my first language) my graphics from 8800gts 512 ---> grforce gt 710 --> tv?

This because (if 710 also has sound over hdmi) of easier cable management (dvi + audio cables) and better quality (composite and/or s-video).

Computer already has the 8800gts, found working (tested) gt710 from second hand shop for 2€, and just was wondering if this is possible, and if not i didn't lose anything ?
