Gigabyte dual uefi bios boot loop

Good evening ladies and gents.  I've had an issue with a Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 AMD Socket FM2+ Motherboard.  After a soft reboot, the PC failed to POST, and repeated displaed a gigabyte UEFI BIOS screen then rebooted.  I have returned the board under warranty.  Hopefully I'll get a repair or replacement.  I did notice that a few days before, the system wold randomly refuse to boost and freeze during POST.  Doies anyone have any idea what could cause this fault?  I believe a repair or refund will come though but I'd like to have a solution if this happens to a clients PC outwith warranty.

i think its because its a really old motherboard (in terms of generation).
