Hello, I am looking to upgrade my PC, I don't know if i should just change my GPU for example, or buy a new on.

 

I am currently running:

i7 2700k 

16gb ram ddr3 1600mhz

gtx 780

maximus extreme-z motherboard

H80 i corsair watercooler

850 watt gold evga supernova power supply

256 gb ssd

1.5 tb hardrive

 

Case corsair graphite 600t - case

that depends on budget, could put in a 2060 in there without much bottleneck

I guess you would be best with an entire new system maybe reusing the case and SSD. buy a new motherboard, RAM, CPU and graphics, I think you should go with Ryzen 3rd gen and a nice speed ram, the motherboard is up to you. The graphics card could be any of the new RTX cards or a 5700 XT it's up to your preference.

I suppose an upgrade wouldnt be the worst idea, as if i were to sell the whole system i would prob get around £300-400 depending on buyer which is good as i got lucky and brought for £250.I have around £400 atm so ye i could go for a near new PC and if i wait for a good tech sale or an event like black friday or cyber monday i will get the best for my money.
