You need to set High Performance graphic in Nvidia Control Panel globally before running the benchmark.

Set back to Auto after you've done and manually select your games to use High Performance graphic unless you don't care about battery life then you can set it globally.

Not sure why your processor score is low though, check background program. 17% background CPU usage is kinda high too.

This is the new test

It's improved a little bit but games like Fortnite for example only run on 30 fps with frame drops going down to 4 fps every second with nothing else open

The game probably use your Intel HD instead of 1050 Ti, try set it manually by selecting Fornite exe in Nvidia Control Panel.

Something like this.

Alright so I just did it and launched Fortnite and not much of an improvement.

Still getting around 30 fps with MASSIVE frame drops every second. :|

Any other solutions?

Hmm.. can you download https://benchmark.unigine.com/superposition and run 1080p extreme preset benchmark

You should get like 1.2k+ score i think. Is it thermal throttling?

It could be, But im not too sure, How do I find out if it is?

Download HWiNFO and run the sensors. Run Superposition as Game and check CPU and GPU temperatures.

Sorry, can you scroll down or click the <--> button so i can see your GPU stats as well? Your CPU clock speed and temperature looks good.

Is that while playing game? If yes then your GPU stuck at idle state, try reinstalling the driver with DDU.

Yes your GPU is stuck on idle clock. I don't know if it software issue or hardware issue. Temperature look pretty high for idle GPU, must be bcause of the shared cooling system with CPU.

I suggest nuke Nvidia driver with DDU and install 1 or 2 version older. Don't forget to reboot your laptop after it's done.

If the battery is removable, try play without the battery attached.

If you have good upload speed i can help you remote and do some troubleshooting, that'll be faster.
