RX 590 Nitro+ vs Pulse - Which one is better?

Hi, i'm looking forward to build my first gaming pc and so far RX590 is the best price/performance in my country but there are two flavors of it both made by Sapphire, the price difference is around 20 bucks more for the Nitro+ edition which sadly comes only in sky blue or gold colour and is not available in its more elegant Black version here; i know the rx 590 has taken a lot of hate from people calling it a rebrand of gool ol' rx 580 but the 580 is ironically more expensive atm, so i'd like to know whether or not there are significant differences between Nitro+ and Pulse editions other than an apparent RGB function and a better looking backplate.

PS: If possible i'd rather buy a 1660ti but right now it's 100~ish more expensive.

The Nitro+ is supposedly their flagship but hey the Pulse is good enough, if you're trying to save money go with it.

The RX 590 is a joke,The 1660 has better performance at the same price, also can be overclocked to 1660 Ti performance level.

Side by side with a 1070 even, i might reconsider my choice if the prize gets reduced during black friday, thnx for sharing the chart, would you say the 2600 x is worth buying or should i stick to the Ryzen 5 2600?

It's very similar to the 2600X so stick with the Ryzen 5 2600,

RAM is important for performance too with Ryzen,I used 2x8GB 3466MHz CL16 RAM to achieve this score.

I also overclocked my Ryzen 5 2600 to 3.9GHz.

The 1070 slightly beat my OCed 1660 at higher resolutions, but overall they are on the same performance level.

I agree with others here.

I don't think the RX 590 is worth it unless it is super on sale, especially when RX 580s and RX 570s can be had for $170 or less.

If you are considering an RX 590, you might as well consider a GTX 1660 and 1660ti. You also get that really great Turing NVENC with it.
