Okay, so my build will be a Ryzen 5 2600 with a 1660 Ti, coupled with 16 Gb of ram. I barely know anything about PSUs, I just know the basics like 80+ and stuff. So yeah, I'd like a semi-modular PSU but I don't know if that fits in my budget, but yeah you can recommend me any good PSU for the price, modular or notre, so I can have a list of what I should get and then see what I can do.

CX550 is an excellent budget model, the TX550M/650M/750M are excellent semi-modulars, and the RM series and higher are excellent fully modular units.

From EVGA you're best off with the G2 series IIRC.

Don't know much about Seasonic's but I do know the S12II/M12II are incredibly outdated and you shouldn't be buying one new, much better options exist for the same price.

Yeah so my budget is around 65-70€ max (in french prices), I also saw I could get a be quiet system power 9, will that do?

I don't think modular will be a thing for my budget so I guess I'll stick with a non-modular

Unfortunately I am indeed skeptical of the fully modular PSUs at your price range according to France's PCPP.

However if you're cool with non-modularity this PSU should be the best pick for your budget also accord to France's PCPP:

Going by the prices from PCPartPicker with region set to France, within your 60 ~ 70 price budget, only a few stood out.

BitFenix Formula Gold 550W that @Princess Luna mentioned:

Go with a semi-modular PSU, and drop down 1 or 2 tiers -- while still a decent PSU -- Corsair CXM 550W (grey label):

CXM is not the same as the CX, it is based on older topology and is not worth it at that price point.

That is a Pure Power 11 not a Straight Power 11, these two are very different hehe.

Formula Gold! Quite frequently sold out locally, due to high demand. Corsair TX550M (semi-modular) or Whisper M 550w (fully modular) are also great options.

Most "affordable but good" PSU-s come with x50w power, (corsair RMX, TXM series, SeaSonic Focus series, Bitfenix Whisper&Formula...). AFAIK the PurePower11 by bequiet is a FSP raider on steroids and overpriced (just like everything with BQ badge) ^^

a PC with those components would need something like 250watts during gaming, so you can even opt for 450w-units.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

well, yes and no

it's based off the raider/raider ii, but so far away from it it's not even fair to link them

as it's of course custom, because be quiet

Thanks. Will keep it in mind. (I am unfortunately a bit too subjective about BQ products, because of local prices and hype in mainstream stores...) my mistake of being human and prejudice. ?

The CX (green label) were the older models that didn't fair very good.

The revised CXM (grey label) should be better...or so I assumed.

Ohh..the CX (grey label) set of PSUs exists too...

Well...Friday afternoon ~5:00 PM mix up.

What I meant to say was Pure Power 11 ?
