Help please possible mobo fault?

Hello everyone, This is my first ever build.

The parts, Please can you tell me if i'm going crazy? The top left corner of the motherboard lights up different colours and i can edit these effects. Is this supposed to happen / sync in the middle section too? Where is says "Game on rog strix"? I'm confused. You can see what I mean if you zoom in on picture 2

I think the "Game on rog strix" isnt supposed to flash at all. I think I have the same motherboard just the b350 version.
