I've been concerned about this for awhile.

Basically I have X amount of space left:

Files are compressed using the windows folder option and my SSD is at 91% health with 41944GB total host writes out of apparently 96TB total (reference here).

Should I be worried about jumping the gun and getting a new SSD for my OS sooner? Or no? Thoughts? Tips?

If you're looking to get the most out of your money, there's no need to upgrade just yet.

32GB is still a decent amount of space, and it won't start running slow just yet.

I can use myself as an example.

Had 120GB intel SSD, one of the first to come out. Used to use it in my gaming pc. It's currently in my server and it's still very much fine in terms of writes. I think it's around 8 years old.

I jumped the gun tho, and am only using NVMe ssd's in my setup now. Less wires and stuff.

Nice! That'll give me more breathing room. I'll most likely plan to get another M.2 soley for games, use my current M.2 for my OS and the aforementioned SSD into a single game drive.

Thanks again!

Would still love to hear from other peep's experiences
