So @NESHAY you should remove the vents covers on the bottom panel(both the plastic and metal with a knife or something), and should repaste with better thermal paste, and just set the fan to always 100% while also not try to overclocking things to improve thermals

never had that issue. I only had bad thermals which are now resolved by removing the vent covers.

thanks for the reply, what tools did you exactly use to remove the screws top open the back. Can a normal screw driver be used to open them up?

just find screwdriver that fits

So I removed the covers on the vents, made a slight improvement to performance and throttling but still isn't a complete fix. Still have to use ryzen controller.

It's been 3 weeks since I fixed mine and yeah It was the GPU. It was auto overclocking the Core Clock to 1900Mhz and affecting CPU performance that's why it overheats and throttle, I used MSI Afterburner to limit the Core Clock of the GPU and It works perfectly. Mine is stable at 1320Mhz and I'm getting decent CPU and GPU temps. I was gonna do a video about this but I've been busy these days so I'm just gonna post it in here. I also recommend uninstalling Ryzen Controller because you won't need it.

there's risks of overvolting but no risks of undervolting

and for GPU and Afterburner, you don't adjust the voltage, but the GPU clocks of every voltage level...

if you prefers temps over performace, just go all flat at 1600-1700Mhz like on Zeirozh's but at higher clocks or same as his

and "perfect" here depends on places, and how they are cooled in different conditions

you should test all kinds, to see which is the best for you

maybe you adjust it to look like a curve, but if you still throttle then adjust for a lower curve

but increasing it... i don't know, cus this laptops is pretty slim and might throttle more

maybe you should ask someone who overclocking things...

undervolt is basically, make a curve, or straight line, but it's lower than stock settings

believe me, I suggest undervolting gpu for more stable and less throttle

Anyways seems like ASUS removed this product on their websites or renamed it Zephyrus G15 with better specs coming with AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti / GeForce RTX 2060, IPS-level panel, 240Hz, 3ms, 100% sRGB and Intel Wi-Fi 6 with Gig+ performance (802.11ax).

Well I tried undervolting, put most of the nodes at around 1740mhz but it still throttled. Guess I'll stick with Ryzen controller.
