Ethernet connects and disconnects randomly

Hello,
My Internet on my PC connected (through Ethernet) keeps disconnecting and reconnecting randomly... I've updated drivers and such but it's still happening, I've now connected it directly to the modem but it still happens.
But one thig that startles me is the name of the Network. It says Ghost_RPT5G which is the name of our Repeater in the other room now I thought maybe it's somehow connected to that router. but when i unplugged it and turned it off it was still called Ghost_RPT5G?

i need help and answers

im praying

LG

James

Firstly, the network name is generally picked up my uPNP from the router.  Its probably using the same name as the SSID thus what you've found.

Secondly, when you plugged it directly into the modem, did you use a different ethernet cable?  Most common reason for flip/flopping like this is a bad cable or a bad ethernet port.
