What witchcraft is this? Witcher 3 60 fps switch

What I'm really curious to see is how the heck a set of 1 GHz Cortex A57s are managing this beast of a game. Granted, Witcher 3 isn't the most cpu intensive game ever, but it routinely eats about 60% of my Haswell i5 in Novigrad, a cpu that not only is clocked way higher, but should exhibit much higher IPC as well.

 

Is there something I'm missing here, or are Cortex A57s actually some beastly cpus in sheep clothing?

It is something on how they manage to get the game to work on the Switch.

I would not mind seeing a break down behind the scenes on how it was ported to the Switch.

 

There been some articles talking about how CD Projekt Red did some parts but nothing super in depth on the process.
