Hello, I've been working on my first custom loop and I could really use some T-shape fittings. I found those on AliExpress:

I was wondering if I'm going to have trouble mixing those with copper/nickel. I already have some brass fittings and I know it's not going to be a problem, but what bothers me is the chrome plating.

Also has anyone painted chrome plated fittings? Any tips to prevent the paint from flaking?

I mix chrome plated brass fittings on aluminum radiators.  If the chrome flakes I will have a problem - because metal is now contacting and the corrosion inhibitor cant stop that corrosion.  I have zero issues using chrome fittings, on aluminum radiators with copper blocks (using a proper corrosion inhibitor of course) however.

Ideally u wouldnt want to mix Chrome in such a loop.

Copper, nickel, brass, bronze, titanium and silver are ok.

I suppose u could always just wire brush the insides of the fittings to remove the plating. Wouldnt take long using a drill..
