Hello there,

my phone decided to recieve a MMS message everyday, without anybody sending it.

Twice a day, it simply notifies me that i recieved a message. The first one is always a photo sent by the other side, after some time, I get another one, which once was my reply to that photo. For some odd reason the reply is duplicated.

Both sides see the same thing.

Here's a diagram to help visualise it:

It occures only once a day, but everyday since I sent that reply. Only happens with one specific contact.

It also only happens with MMS messages, normal SMS texts work just fine (Messenger sort of separates MMS from SMS into 2 separate conversations, one only has MMS, other has SMS and photos from MMS).

When I sent another text reply to that MMS conversation, I recieved it back 3 times. It even shows it was sent by me ('já' translates to 'me'), as shown here - https://imgur.com/a/siqbNdb

The phone is a Lenovo P1m, android 5.1, using Messenger to send texts.

That is super strange, It honestly is kind of sounding like a cell provider issue because the same thing is happening for both parties.

If it was me I would have you both delete the MMS conversation from you phones and then reboot your phones. Give it a day and see if those messages come back, If they don't then try and create a new MMS conversation and see if the problem returns.
