Hello, I am looking to build a new system and I was wondering if this is a good choice for a system. I am looking at either an i3-9100f paired with an rx 580, or an i5 9400f with an rx 570. They are practically the same price and I am wondering which build is better. I am a gamer and I like to stream sometimes. I play at 1080p 60 Hz.

Ok, I was thinking this anyways, but I am looking through and there are so many different types of rx 580. I don't know which one to get... I just used the XFX 8GB for reference. Also RAM and motherboard are something I haven't decided on yet. Any pointers?

eh, i'd say get the one with the beefiest heatsink and more fans, as for ram i'd only buy corsair, but thats just me :), get the cheapest mobo that supports your cpu, unless you're gonna use the features on the more expensive ones

none of these looks like good deals.. 9400f bundle is a bit more flexible...

how much are they actually?

Also, what is a good deal then? I don't really want to go old hardware because I want to future-proof.

"future proof" is kind of a joke imo. It's not bad to want to be ready with a PC that will hopefully be good for a while but no average consumer really knows what games are going to be coming out in the coming months/years so it varies how long your hardware will hold up.

this is why you should choose ryzen instead

eg 6 cores / 12 threads & overclockable
