Minor OC stable. But base frequency throttles every 45 seconds.

Didn't see an OC sub forum so I hope this is ok here. GPU is an MSI gaming gtx 970.

 

This is a stable (20 minutes, no crashing, no artifacts) minor OC. What I'm seeing is it will run at the boosted clock shown for 45 seconds, then slowly throttle to the base 1113mhz.

 

Then ramps back up to the boosted clock, repeat. Temps are cool, everything is stable, just this small rollback.

Which I'm not sure its even worth it. Equal benchmarks before and after gained two frames ? And Afterburner doesn't show the +10mv in the display.

 

Any ideas? thank you
