Building a New gaming/streaming PC! $850 USD!Need help!

Here guys! I’m planning to build a brand new gaming and streaming PC but there’s a issue. If you couldn’t tell by my name already, I’m a complete Newbie at this. I don’t really understand to much on the best parts and the difference for what’s good and what’s bad for parts. I need a monitor and mouse as well. I’m thinking of gaming with games such as Borderlands 3,  Apex, and Killing Floor 2. Maybe I can get some help from you guys?

If I was in your shoes I'd buy a used Ryzen 7 1700 and start from there. That's if you live in a country with a healthy used market like I do, I can find 1700s for about 150 usd (120gbp).

I'm just gonna start off with saying that I don't know much about streaming, I've never done it before. But, I have built a PC for a friend that does, and he seems to be happy enough with his R7 1700 rig. 8 cores should be pretty good for encoding video while gaming. The GPU has ample horses for high/ultra 1080p gaming at 60 fps. You'll get more from this PC if you overclocked it, which is pretty easy and there are many tutorials on YouTube that explain it much better than I could here.

 

-I know I said get a used 1700, but a new 1700X is actually not that much more money, so why not eh.

-Also, if you want a meatier GPU, maybe you can scrounge eBay for a used Vega 56 or GTX 1070. For about 10 bucks more these cards can be had used.

-I didn't include a OS, because you can pick up a W10 Pro key off eBay for a couple bucks. Don't buy a key from microsoft, or even worse, G2A/Kinguin. Search eBay for a Windows 10 key, and sort by lowest price. You should be paying $5 at most for this.

-I could've gone for a cheaper board, but I didn't. I think at $800 you would want some flash for your cash. If you don't care, get a MSI B450M PRO-M2 V2 instead.

-If you want to add some RGB flare to the case, this is a surprisingly cheap nice addressable RGB bar. It's shipping from China though.

-As always, case choice is subjective. I just chose what I would buy in this situation.

Whoops, I forgot you need a monitor. If there's zero possibility for you to come up with another $100 in the near future, I suggest you go for a used RX 480/580 off eBay instead of the new 590 (they're around $100), and get this monitor.

As for KB and Mouse, I'd go for these until you can afford a better set: Keyboard, mouse.

Going for a smaller NVME ssd (the A80 is available in 256gb) and hard drive, will help you afford this.
