So is my PC potato or good for the money?

for the money, you stole it from whoever you got it from, its fine, just ( test ) games before you buy them

youll be able to play the games

and youll be able to play csgo ranked no problem, the only bottleneck on csgo skill will be your mouse and monitor, just dont worry about the comp.

its nothing amazing but its ok for 1080p i guess, wont be maxing anything but it can play games

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Why ask AFTER the purchase?

its a standard because its buyable by most building a new pc and are saving up to build, the 70 line has always been the standard because 80 and 80 ti are always just a tad too much, if you dont agree its standard i dont see how i need to prove it to you. Its normal

You don't have to prove anything to me, but you probably should have some basis for babbling...

all those people bought the standard 1-2 years ago and are the majority on steam rn.

I have a fx-8350, r9 390(and a r9 270), 12gb ddr3, gigabyte 990xa-ud3 and a xfx xts 1000w platinum. Can I game with it in todays standards?

It's not too bad for light gaming...CPU is pretty dated but I believe it still has 8 cores (not independent) IMO, the GPU is pretty middle grade (of course that is subjective as I've seen people on here say a GTX 1080 is 'low end' )

Anyways, bl3 (should) run and be mostly playable on lower graphics settings, just don't expect anywhere near 60 fps.
