Wait so you want to get 128gb of RAM? Is there a reason

Also have you ever used pcpartpicker.com? It lets you change what you want in your search so you can narrow it down to the correct socket for 8th and 9th gen (lga1151, but only 3XX series) and 128gb of RAM

And why get a Z390 motherboard when the 9400 is a locked CPU?

noctua nh-d15s chromax w black cover

evga 3070 ultra

Hi mxk,

The reason is for the LOL. I want to take a screenshot of my installed RAM and send it to friend to collect his tears.

I did happen upon a wiki page that caused some concern, I hope it's a typo:

https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/core_i5/i5-9400

"This chip supports up to 64 GiB of dual-channel DDR4-2666 memory"

To multiply the LOL factor by 10 and collect every last drop of my mate's tears.

I shall take a skip about pcpartpicker, than you.
