Hello Guys,

I'm building this PC for two goals, work & gaming! I do a little bit of rendering, and the games that I play are; Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Far Cry 5, Anno 1800, Anthem, CS-GO.

My budget is around USD2500-3000 for a build in INDONESIA.

Below are my specs for my upcoming PC build, I welcome any suggestions for better quality or value with the equivalent parts.

THANK YOU!! :D

Hello Guys,

Just try and find an R5 3600 with an RX 5700, and a 1440p 144hz or 1440p ultra wide 100hz display. or a 1080p 240hz display.

Then get like a 500GB SSD with a 2TB hard drive.

And make sure your case has good airflow with a mesh front, and buy the biggest cheapest CPU cooler you can find like a Scythe Fuma 2.

Don't need a key to install or use windows, can buy them online for cheap anyways.

And check reviews for the power supply.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Hello Streetguru,

I picked the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Processor to power up the RX 5700 XT OC.

If I decided to pick up the R5 3600, will it be compatible with my GPU?

Thanks!

yes, of course.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

@AceWizz

Are you doing rendering as part of your day to day job or just casual ?

Which MSI 5700 XT is that ? I would avoid the Evoke if going MSI. The Gaming X is excellent though. Nothing wrong with the Asus Strix although it will probably be more expensive than other good cards.

You can save a bit on the board. Any of the Asus X570 can handle a 3900X. You also have good boards like the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite/Pro.

I wouldn't overpay for 3600MHz Ram. You can go with a 3000MHz - 3200MHz if it is cheaper and just overclock it. I wouldn't get that Ram anyway as I think it looks awful ? Too much bling imo.

Antec psu cables won't work with a Corsair psu unless they are just extensions.

You can probably get a cheaper SSD than the Samsung. Ones like Corsair MP510 or HP EX920/950 etc.

Are you buying from Amazon USA or stores in Indonesia ? Hard to suggest parts if we don't know availability.

Those are like 2 completely different tiers, if you need 12 cores just get the 12 core.

Otherwise NZXT cases don't have the best airflow, would suggest something with a mesh front like a Fractal Focus G, or Coolermaster MB511 or NR400 or NR600

And krakens are overpriced AIOs for the performance. Should just get a dual tower air cooler like this one, that way it can never fail.

Thank you so much for your input!

It's gonna be casual rendering. Not an everyday basis.

Will definitely do research on the Gigabyte X570!

Any recommendation for the RAM??

I'll be buying from Indonesia, however if there aren't any in the country I can get my parts from the US through forwarder.

Please check out http://www.viraindo.com/ for parts, if you need some parts that aren't available in your country, I can help export it for you if it is cheaper in my country.

Will research some more on the fans and my casings.

Any recommendation on the mother board that can support my GPU?

Also what do you guys think about the processor? Should I go with Intel or AMD?

Your motherboard doesn't affect your GPU

but just check this channel if you want something a bit higher end.

The ASUS TUF and Gigabyte Elite X570 boards are fine. The X570 Prime is fine for the lower end boards.

Ryzen is the better value right now. You either get the same cores for like 90% the same maximum fps in games, or more cores for the same price.

Looks like an awesome build, @AceWizz. Did you end up getting the H510 Elite and the X62? If so, which fans did you use on the radiator? The ones that came with it or the AER RGB fans that came with the case? It seems like most do the latter, as they look great, but I'm wondering how that setup would affect cooling performance as they're not the same kind of fans as the ones you get with the AIO (different static pressure, etc.). Any thoughts? Hope you're enjoying it, by the way!
