Depends on the game. In some, it would, but in a lot of titles it would be a good combo. Also, consider the 3770 or even 2600, as you likely don't have an overclocking motherboard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I have a I5 2300 right now, and really need a cheap upgrade. 3770Ks are going for around 100$ where I live right now, and I won't even need to switch out the mobo.

100$ is a very good price for that CPU and it'll work very well with a GTX 1070...it,s a good mid-range combo if you ask me.

Your curent motherboard will likely require a BIOS update prior to work with the 3770 so make sure you update your board before you get rid of your old i5.

we don't have performance data about that game, although the recommended spec is a 4770K and a GTX 1060 so I doubt an i7 2600 would struggle.

Should. Isn’t a good cpu at all unless you are the type to cap frames or play stuff that isn’t very intensive.
