My folding was going along nicely and then yesterday my CPU stopped folding. It says ready and downloading. While my GPU keeps on going with new jobs just fine. I have tried manually clicking fold and that does nothing and i tried uninstall and reinstall but still no luck. Anybody know WTH is going on here, and how to fix it?

Download bug - try restarting the client, if that doesn’t help, reboot the system, and if that doesn’t help delete the cpu slot and RE -add (this will loose your progresss tho)

I tried another reinstall and nothing. Tried deleting CPU and rebooting and adding it back nothing. Tried changing my overclock of the CPU back to factory all auto stuff and nothing. It looked like it was gonna work but then nope.

Maybe try to switch of folding, delete the config file and let it redo it?

I know that’s similar to uninstalling an reinstalling but (on linux) i had cases were the config.xml was left over even after uninstall....

Just now, Kenji the Uke said:

I actually fixed it by removing the CPU slot like suggested above, and just adding it back on. It was stuck on "Ready "

Oh nice to hear this. This happens to me like every two months... F@H software is far form perfect lol
