Need help picking new monitor

Hey everyone!

 

 Im new here, so sorry if im not following the exact format of the forum rules. 

 

Looking to buy a new monitor because I upgrade my PC that had a GTX 960 to a RTX 2070. Im super excited because I pre ordered RDR 2 for pc and want to take advantage of the power of the graphics card as much as possible. 

 

What 1440p at least 144Hz, monitor would you recommend?

Hello. I always recommend Samsung for quality and lasting purposes! I say go for the Samsung 27" 144Hz 1ms, but that has FreeSync, and not G-Sync to work with your graphics card.

 

But what's your budget?

Do you want G-Sync?

Screen size?

Response time?

1.I would like to say my budget is 1000 CAD at max.

2.I actually know the importance of G-SYNC...so if you could inform that would be great!

3. I currently have a 27 inch monitor so I would like to stay around that size

4. Dont know the importantance of response size either

RDR 2

League of Legends

GTA 5 

Boarderlands 3

 

Potentially 

Call of Duty MW
