GPU causes monitors to show "no signal"

I built my PC 1 and a half years ago and no problems occurred at the beginning. Then after 1 year the screen randomly turns off and shows no signal but keyboard and other peripherals work just fine. This problem happens only at certain times and it was eventually gone after i installed new GPU driver. Then this problem happened again 6 months later and even after installing new GPU driver the problem was not solved. Then
i removed the GPU from its slot and connected the monitors to motherboard. Then it works just fine with no interruptions. What should i do to fix the Graphics card?

 

My PC specs
OS:- Windows 10 Pro
CPU:- intel i5 6600K
Graphics card:-Zotac GTX 1060 (3 GB)
RAM:- (corsair vengeance 8GB)
Motherboard:- GIGABYTE H110M-S2

PSU:- Corsair VS 450

Is the gpu overclocked?or overheating? mine starts flickering and stop working if I overclock it too much and had to manually power off and on the pc...then tune it down...

Its not over clocked.There is no flickering the monitor just turns off and shows no signal.

Do you have to force a shutdown? I've been trying to diagnose a computer with the same problem for the past few days.

the last time i had this problem too..then i upgrade my pc..=x..so if you found the answer tag me too..let me know..xD

@JoostinOnline Nope, the monitor turns off, and pc  becomes unresponsive. for eg when i stream movies from my pc to tv using kodi, And when this problem happens, the stream gets interrupted and i cant start the stream until i restart the pc again.

Can you shut it down by tapping the power button, or do you have to hold the power button down?

@JoostinOnline Oh sorry, i had to hold the power button down to shut it off.

If this is still not fixed, I removed my CPU cleaned the thermal paste off reapplied it. Then if that still does not work it might be your GPU getting too hot, Increase the fan speed if possible.
