Today I was building a budget gaming pc. It is the first time I worked with AMD hardware, and gigabyte motherboard... but I installed it all correctly, then I went to the bios to change some settings, like XMP to have full memory speed.

In the bios, mouse works, but stops working after a few seconds. About 30-60 seconds after entering bios, keyboard stops working and will loop the input of whatever key was pressed while it stopped.

When I select an option in the bios it will spam it. Like I press the XMP option, then you get a little menu to confirm and it will just open and close this little menu very fast and you can barely try to stop it. Then usually keyboar stop working. I tried with 2 keyboards, brand new one and older one (same brand though, ducky) I try all the usb ports on back and front.

I tried to flash the bios to latest version to see if it fixed the issue, but was unable to update. After pressing END on boot, you go to menu for flashing the bios. I select the bios version to install on my USB, then it just says "bios id check error" and stops. Also in this screen the mouse and keyboard work fine and they dont disconnect after a few seconds.

It is the gigabyte aorus b450m motherboard + ryzen 3600, corsair ddr4 3200 16gb. Gtx 1660ti, Samsung nvme ssd.

The motherboard says compatible with ryzen 3000 on the box and the bios version it came with installed is the one which it says on the website supports ryzen 3000

I havent tried to reset CMOS battery or jumper, because I was tired of crouching under the table. but will try tomrorrow.

pls help
