4k 27inch scaled up vs 32inch scaled up?

27 inch 4k has better ppi compared to 32 inch. Does scaled up text looks better on higher ppi 27 inch?

No.

 

I use a 32" 4k monitor and text looks perfect at 150%.

 

I had no issues with text quality with the 28" 4k monitors that I have owned. The problem was I use apps that don't scale at all and with 27/28" 4k monitors I had to drop the resolution to 1440p to use them. With a 32" monitor I can stay at 4k.

I use an old version of PhotoShop that does not scale. Others are MSI Afterburner, Nexus Mod Manager and some old conversion tools I use modding. 

 

When I was using a 28" 4k monitor Steam did not scale but has since been fixed. I bought the 32" monitor 2017 so it has been a while since I have had any scaling issues.

 

I am tempted to go back to 27/28" since the 4k 144hz monitors have come down in price.

I'm doing mostly 3d work and photo. I'm thinking about upgrading my triple monitor setup (25 inch 2k Dells) to triple LG 27UK850-W 4k. 32 in triple monitor setup might be too much

I am a retired 3D artist. My setup has always been 2 computers networked together with 2 or 3 monitors.

One computer for 3D only and the other one for 2D, mainly PhotoShop and Illustrator. This was to make use of down time when rendering.

I have ran 2 1440p monitors with 1 4k monitor but I have know experience with going over that.

 

The max resolution of my 2080 ti is 7680x4320 and that is more than 3 4k monitors so it is possible.
