Monitor Shopping, Clueless!

SenKa

Okay, so for a quick backstory: I have not shopped for monitors since 75Hz was, in Linus' words, "pretty deese". Thus I am completely clueless as to shopping in 2019. Heres what I need:

High refresh rate, I play games competitively and am getting to the point where 75Hz is holding me back. I have no preference between 144Hz and up, though more is more.

1080P is fine, as im used to it, but 1440P would really be nice. I have a 2070, so no issues driving 1440p 144Hz.

Really, really don't want to spend more than $300. I can, but less is better

I'm coming from the LG 34UM69G-B and really like the colour profile of it, though I have a secondary monitor that is far better in this regard and I use it for my editing work. Still want it to look good obviously.

No smaller than 27"

Things such as built in speakers mean nothing to me.

Am I asking for too much? If so, what sacrifices must be made to keep it near $300?

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

the specs on this one looks pretty good, 1440p 144hz VA panel

IPS will be another 50-100$

no freesync/g-sync tho

Thats something else I really don't mind, as I don't use it anyways.

Thats actually quite a decent monitor, but im going to see what others say because $430 is quite a pill to swallow.

The 32" version is cheaper what the hell. Thats an amazing monitor! But I am going to wait and see what others say before I pull the trigger. Thank you very much!

oh yeah I was looking at the 32" one then blindly assumed that the 27" would be cheaper and selected that. GL!
