I've had a build for a few years now and rarely had any trouble with it until the last month or so. The computer began turning itself on when it was on standby. This didn't cause me huge issues so I didn't look into it too heavily. After a week or so of this I went to turn on the computer and there was no response. I found that if I hold down the power button for about 7 seconds a blue light starts flickering, located next to the CMOS. If I go to turn it on by only pressing the button,  rather than holding it, nothing happens at all. After holding it, the light flashes 9 times quickly, then 3 times with longer duration, and finally another fast pulse. Nothing happens after this. No fans spinning. Nothing. I tried replacing the CMOS battery already to no success.

Motherboard is an MSI Z170A M5. I've removed the GPU, and changed the RAM configuration around to no joy, either.

Would really like to be able to turn my computer on again, so any help is appreciated.
