Anything better at this price point?

So I ordered a new laptop for work. It's primarily for data entry, transcription and Adobe based image editing. Maybe some light personal use, but no real gaming outside of online chess. 

 

Just wondering if there's anything better available, I think I got a good deal but it's been a while since I looked into mobile hardware. My budget is 500-600 USD.

 

This is what I custom ordered from HP, it cost $495:

 

• i5-8265U 4 core with hyper threading 
• Nvidia MX-130 2GB (not for gaming, mainly for hardware acceleration in apps)
• 8GB DDR4
• 15 inch IPS 1080P panel (I realize this likely isn't a fantastic IPS panel, but it's better than the 720P alternatives)
• 128GB M2 SSD 
• Backlit keyboard

 

I'll be adding another 8GB stick and a mechanical drive for storage on my own, bringing the total to 580ish.
