Hi! Norwegian newbie here feeling hopeless in the hunt for a new gaming monitor. Building my first pc soon and I want to buy a suited monitor, but that seems to be easier said than done. My soon to be built pc:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor

Motherboard: ASUS B450-E Gaming

Storage: Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card

Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR600

Power Supply: NZXT E 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX

I am aiming for a 1440p, 144hz, low ms, non-TN with a budget of up to 600 USD (although I don't want to spend more than what I have to/should do). The usage is mainly for a relatively even mix of fps shooters and AAA games.  Not sure about the resolution or the screen size, but I am going to a store tomorrow to look at the differences and find my preferences.

My first choice is to buy from a physical store since it is much easier and less time-consuming when it comes to returns. And given the lottery when it comes to good/bad monitors, I would like to avoid ordering online. The prices here in norway are quite high given a 25% tax.

The monitors I have looked at my local stores are:
1080p 24' 144hz:
MSI MAG 241C VA (297 USD)
1080p 27' 144hz:
MSI MAG 271C VA (351 USD)

Acer Nitro VG271P (297 USD)
Asus XG27VQ VA (494 USD)
MSI MAG 271CR VA (384 USD)

1440p 27' 144hz:
Samsung C27JG56 VA (384 USD)
Acer Nitro VG271UP IPS (540 USD)
Predator XB1 XB271HU IPS (605 USD)
LG 27GL850-B Nano-IPS (625 USD - doesn't come in stock until 25th november...)

For monitors availiable online I have looked at:
27' 1440p 144-165hz:
Asus TUF VG27AQ IPS (550 USD)
MSI MPG27CQ VA (550 USD)
MSI MAG271CQR VA (494 USD)
AOC AG273QCX VA (550 USD)

I know it is a big list of monitors, but I feel so small and lost when it comes to choosing. I have read multiple reviews on them all, and after every review I change my mind. Is there any advice and hope for a lost soul like myself?

Gigabyte aurus AD27QD is a good choice for panel. Should sit your budget.

get a different motherboard like the MSI b45 tomahawk (max) - better suited for your GPU and overall a higher quality board
